Today is gonna be good

Posted by Steve On August - 17 - 2009

Has to be once a week I just can’t sleep these days like my mind won’t shut down.  I just get something in there and it starts rolling around rattling to the point my teeth start to chatter.  Then I climb myself back out of the bed sit here at the computer smoke my cigarettes, drink my coffee, and hash it out in my own time.  Like right now writing this blog post.  Which I swear I’m gonna do more of.  So I think I finally came up with a good idea but I still need to work it out some.

On an unrelated note I am still not happy with this theme on the site.  I tried to make a few changes and it turns out the guy who wrote the code was like uber copyright nutter.  He encrypted the footer of the code so you can’t change it and worse yet it links to bad url’s so I can’t even contact him about it.  I just want to change copyright this site to creative commons.  With the little picture.  Maybe change his link to something not a parked page.  If there is any help please let me know.

So the time has come to say goodbye to all are company…

A Memorial Tribute to Sam

Posted by Steve On August - 17 - 2009

Sam was getting up in the years fifteen ya’ know.  His ever slighter frame and weakening of age prevented him from going down stairs, so we had been taking him out the front door.  Most of the time he would take care of business and come in.  Occasionally he would get it in his head that there was an adventure just round the corner or down the driveway.

Two weeks ago he made a decision that his mother couldn’t make it was his time.  Getting weaker the other dogs taking challenging his authority he had to take that last adventure.  Ever the accommodating friend he was till the very end.

This is a tribute video to a long time companion and great friend. He is on the last great adventure.

004,
originally uploaded by Rev. Steve Stromberg.

Right outside my window was this beautiful deer. It seems to be glowing here but I was still sleeping when I took the pictures so I am just glad that the pics are visible. To date she is still around but it is hunting season. So I am hunting the hunters.
I look forward to seeing this little one again just to know it is still around.

Creating your own website..

Posted by Steve On July - 29 - 2008

I have been going for days trying to get my new website up and running and my eyes are starting to go cross. I think that I will be crazified by the end of the sessions and the real beyatch is that I have only done 2 pages. Mind you it took me seconds to get the second one going to match the first.(Love cut and paste though)
I can’t believe this shyt on that page and I haven’t even started the product pages or the shopping cart features. If there is an easier way please let me know. Mind you I don’t want to spend any money on the whole adventure. Still jobless and all.
Well I feel better with that off my chest. Got a job interview tomorrow will see how that goes. Thanks for the rant.

My new Webbiz

Posted by Steve On July - 23 - 2008

I have finally done it. The state of NC has given me a business license and I am in the midst of figuring out HTML CSS and Asp.net plus I need to set up the shopping cart and the likes. It is making my neck ache already. It feels like trying to swallow a super big slice of pizza and swallow at the same time. Maybe it is just me but I think it is worth it to try…

I will succeed at this I know that the road is an arduous one but once you get over the hills and valley the mountain won’t look so bad.

Just guit my job

Posted by Steve On July - 15 - 2008

Feeling pretty good about it, like a weight has been lifted off my chest. For the last few months I’ve been late, depressed, unhappy, and miserable to be around. I can feel a good change coming on. Maybe I will finally go back to school. Maybe learn about WEB design or programming. Hell I keep getting told that I am in the wrong field. People ask what I am doing at a garage. i can tell you what I didn’t know myself.

Everything will be alright.

Morning Reflections The Editing Mark UP

Posted by Steve On June - 5 - 2008

2 Corinthians 10: 4

For the weapons of our warfare are carnal lust in nature, and mighty through God’s divine willingness to pulling down of strong holds goats;
Thought for the Day: Your Victory Is Couming Through Prayer.

IE: “oh God yes, OH god Yes, YEs, YYYEEEEEEESSSSSSSSSSSS, I’m gonna, I’m GOnna, Oh I’m gonna CUM baby….”

Reflection for the Day: Pray Fornicate,, And You Will Have Something To Shout About!

The early church knew a lot about prayer Fornicate, with animals. They understood the power of prayer a goat and the impact it had on the various situations ways they faced. Paul reminded the saints that regardless of the strong hold, they were empowered to bring it down. Or put there feet in some hip waders. They simply had to be fast and utilizing their mighty weapons plunge deep into the animals depths. They knew their victory was couming through prayerfornication with a divine animal.

Much emphasis is given in today’s church to praise and worship those goats. This is good, but even more focus must be given to prayer fornication with these most lovely of creations, for it is prayer fornication that provides the power to bring down the strong holds. It is prayer fornication that brings the victories that give you something to shout about. Your time in prayer fornication today is preparing the victory you are going to shout about tomorrow.
